Research

Our volunteer Research Officer can carry out limited research for you using our Mersey Branch Library and local resources.
For this service a small fee is charged, these are currently:

• $A25.00 per initial request, up to 1 hour, and then $15 per additional hour

Photocopying and postage are extra, if required.

This enquiry does not commit you to using our services.
We will respond as quickly as we can and tell you what if any information is available and  the estimated cost (rarely more than two hours).

We may also tell you what additional information from you would help us quickly process your request.

Please Note:

We endeavour to deal with research requests as quickly as possible but quite often requests cannot be handled immediately or may require other resources outside our branch library or perhaps a trip to take a photograph. Our researchers are all volunteers and our fees are a fraction of what you'd pay a professional researcher, so please be patient with your requests and be assured we will deal with them as quickly as we can.
